Quick Installation Guide

1. Trim: Saw down carefully, keeping the blade as close to the side as possible on both sides of the broken cup holder hinge.

2. File: Remove any remaining material around the shaft axis with a small file. The replacement part will seat against this area.

3. Dry Fit: Check the fit of the new component using just the hinge (leave the spring off for now). If you feel resistance, file a bit more from around the shaft axis until it creates a smooth blend to the top.

4. Bond: Apply a very thin layer of epoxy adhesive for a clean, professional finish (or superglue for a quick bond), then press the new hinge mounts into place.

5. Reassemble: Once fully cured, re-assemble your cup holders using your original springs and pins.
